Before the actual Second Coming of Christ, Revelation 19 gives us a look into the events that will take place before He comes back to set up His 1,000 year reign. Below is a paraphrased poem of Revelation 19, with the sole purpose of asking a fierce question.
Are You One of the We?
JR MAYHUGH JR
Babylon’s gone to never be found
Destroyed by the One who wears many crowns
The Lamb received glory, honor and praise
As He sat on a throne with The Ancient of Days
Hallelujah was shouted with all of our might
As we gazed upon Him and His glorious sight
The announcement was made for the bride to prepare
To move and receive something different to wear
We stretched out our arms to the left and the right
To receive a new robe in the purest of white
We moved as a throng to a very long table
We were seated and fed by the One who is able
When we finished the feast with the last given course
We were taken to mount a magnificent horse
Two columns were made from the left and the right
Shoulder to shoulder with no end in sight
We heard in the distance a thundering sound
The approaching commander, who wore many crowns
We sat perfectly straight for the One that we knew
The One who passed by - called Faithful and True
The look on His face was steadfast and bright
You could tell in His eyes He was ready to fight
When he came to the end of the kingly procession
His horse took a leap and opened up heaven
The Army took flight and we followed our God
Who said He would rule with a powerful rod
By a word from His mouth the nations went down
Destroyed by the One who wears many crowns
The beast and his aide were arrested and tossed
Into the lake for the wicked and lost
This story is set in the final decree
Are you sure in your heart that you’re one of the we?
